Having "cheat meals" 1x/week is something I encourage most of my challengers to do once they are on a maintenance program. Just because you choose to live a healthy lifestyle, does NOT mean you will never taste chocolate again!
Although, (here's my disclaimer ;) ) some personalities are ALL IN personalities and struggle with cheat meals, binging etc.
For you, there are other solutions!! YOU'RE NOT ALONE!! I love helping my "all or nothing" clients work through their struggles in other ways and come to a place where they CAN enjoy foods in moderation.
