Do you know someone who suffers from chronic pain? Has an injury? Has a chronic illness? If so, go give them a big hug and tell them how incredible they are. Anyone dealing with pain and illness- especially for long periods of time deserves a big freaking high-five! Pain is NOT easy to cope with. I've been dealing with pain and injuries for a long time, but I've gotta say the last couple of months have been a whole new ball game! I've been pretty quiet about my workouts and nutrition the last few weeks- and this is why!
The last couple of weeks I've finally realized the pain isn't going away and I need to seek help. Right now I'm praying for pain relief, mental clarify, and swift answers so I can heal properly and as quick as possible.
This year I was going to run a bunch of half marathons, get in the best post baby shape I've ever been in...but evidently that's not what I was meant to be doing this year.
Between a knee injury and now something else with my back/neck/arm😫 my plans are on hold and my focus is healing.
NOT easy when you're a busy mom to 3 kids 5 and under and have businesses to run, one being a fitness business that includes me working out daily 🤷🏼♀️. I've been "benched" for the time being but that's okay! There's still good to focus on and progress to be made. 👍🏻 I can fuel my mind with positivity, fuel my body with good foods, and exercise therapeutically. 👆🏻that's what I teach my clients who are injured, so now I need to apply my own advice 🤓. My goal is to heal quick enough to do a round of 80 Day Obsession (the test group I'm currently a part of, but had to put on pause...) before it releases to the public in January.
Operation HEALING begins NOW. 🙏🏻✨
PS thank you to THE BEST massage therapist around Leslie Hendrian For helping me kick off my healing today💗 If you're in southeast Idaho I HIGHLY recommend her! She loves what she does and is very good at it!
