Being a woman is tough. There is this constant comparison trap that we get ourselves caught up in over every little thing.
From parenting to the way our body looks- we are always so conscious about how 'she' does things compared to how we do things.
It's hard to just BE good enough and not compare.
Having a baby (and now 3!) was an eye opener for me. I found myself constantly caught up in comparing myself to other women. Truth is- I still do sometimes.
It's easy to get down on ourselves because our abs don't look like 'hers' or because 'she' is a size 0.
But truth be told--'she' doesn't matter! YOU MATTER!
Your size, shape, decisions, and personality are unique and WONDERFUL. Absolutely NO ONE can be YOU!
Sure, my abs will never look like they did when I was 18, but I'm okay with that! I love my 28 year old body MUCH more than I did my 18 year old one. I take care of myself now and take pride in WHO I AM. I am THANKFUL for this body a loving Heavenly Father has aloud me to use.
I'm okay with stretch marks, c section scars, separated abs, and all that came with the road of motherhood I've chosen. It defines me- and I love that. It makes me, ME.
I have to remind myself daily that I AM BEAUTIFUL- JUST the way God created me-flaws and ALL!
I challenge you to do the same, because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and God loves you JUST the way you are!! 💗
