This month is Chronic Illness Awareness month. Chronic illness sucks and the symptoms we get from the illnesses themselves and the symptoms we get form the medications we are on can really be hard to cope with.
My joints have been hurting pretty bad the last few days. I've noticed about 1-2 weeks after my Entyvio infusions is when my joints start to flare. Not fun
Since my joints hurt it makes it hard to want to workout- like I feel like I'm 80 -lol! But I know that if I JUST PUSH PLAY, I'll feel so much better.
So, this morning I grabbed my super cushy (and amazing for my sore joints) yoga mat and pushed play on my PiYo workout. Now I'm feeling stretched and refreshed!
My joints are still flared, but the energy and stretching my workout is making me feel more confident about moving on with my day.
This month I'm wearing PURPLE a whole lot more, for all of my Crohn's Fighters. I believe that when coping with chronic illness a SUPPORT SUSTEM and knowing YOU'RE not alone is HUGE.
