A different take on #transformationtuesday today.
Ya see, we haven't always been the best at having family dinners. In fact- they were pretty non-existent and hit-and-miss at best. Matt's farming schedule made it so he would get home late and we couldn't count on him for dinner. So I would usually make the kids their food, bath them and put them to bed and then eat my dinner while I watched Netflix.
Once winter came around and Matt was actually home for dinner- we were so out of routine it was hard to make sitting down and eating as a family a HABIT.
Now that we are a full-time family, having family dinners has been on our priority list.
My mom and dad always made sure to have family dinner- and I learned so much, developed my values, and built deep relationships with my parents at those dinners. (thanks mom and dad!💕)
I want that for my kids too!
So, here's to MANY, MANY more family dinners! #leadahappylife #familymatters #dinnertime
