After 5 months of working to lose the baby weight (and succeeding), I caught myself (frequently😳) "rewarding" myself for a hard day with a donut and a diet Dr. Pepper (with coconut 😋)...and I had a "oh my heck" moment...it went something like this, "Oh my heck Breezie, what are you doing? You are rewarding yourself with food, food that is comfort, food that you are eating to cover emotions...why? This is not worth it. It makes you sick when you eat like this, Breezie. It's not worth it."
This is when I knew I had to re-wire my relationship with food, and FAST.
Next thing I know I'm grabbing for my Whole 30 book (which has sat on my shelf for nearly 2 years...) and I start planning my attack (more like jumping in head first😏) and starting the Whole 30 nutrition plan.
Here I am at Day 2 and I will be honest- I'm so excited. After 2 days of it I remember WHY I need to eat this way. Don't get me wrong, it's hard to prep and plan while running two businesses and wrangling three kids under 5😜, not to mention that I'm totally detoxing from sugar with awesome headaches. But I already know a huge freaking light is at the end of the tunnel and I'll be feeling more amazing than ever when I finish.
